Northcote Group's impressive expansion plans are moving up a gear... and already they look like a recipe for success.
The Group's famous hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant...now known simply as Northcote...has just launched a brand new identity to mark the completion of the latest stage of its ambitious refurbishment. All fourteen rooms now feature stunning individual decoration by one of Britain's leading interior designers. The feedback from guests who have already experienced the sumptuous new look is overwhelmingly positive.

Co-proprietors, Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft, are now about to give the green light to the final development phase, with an investment of £3million. This will include the total refurbishment of the main dining room, a new look for the Private Dining Room which will have its own dedicated kitchen, the development of twelve entirely new bedrooms to meet with increasing demand, and the re-landscaping of the gardens, driveway and entrance.
"All this has to be accomplished without inconveniencing any of our guests", says Craig, "but once the finishing touches are in place, it will be the culmination of a five-year plan designed to make Northcote one of the UK's leading country retreats."
There's even a new website - www.northcote.com - featuring a new on-line booking facility.
Elsewhere in the Group, there are similarly successful stories. Northcote at the Rovers, the company that provides Corporate Hospitality at Ewood Park, the home of Blackburn Rovers FC, has just signed a new five-year deal, allowing it to continue the ongoing expansion of its matchday, conference and banqueting operation.
Ribble Valley Inns, a collection of rural pubs in the North West, simply marches from strength to strength. The Highwayman at Nether Burrow has carried on the multi award-winning tradition started by the Three Fishes, and in early September sees the launch of a third pub when The Clog & Billycock opens its doors.
Located in Pleasington, a beautiful village on the outskirts of Blackburn, The Clog & Billycock will continue to offer a menu inspired by local tradition with produce sourced from the best of the local farmers and growers.
"The Northcote name is gaining in national prominence", says Nigel Haworth. "But the secret of our success isn't hard to find. We keep things local and celebrate the enormous riches available on our doorstep...an area that is rapidly becoming the food capital of Great Britain."
