Lancaster Bomber

Created in Blackburn by independent brewers Daniel Thwaites, this chestnut-coloured, full flavoured beer is a real winner. It shot to fame in 2005 when Lancashire cricket legend Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff endorsed it during the Ashes series. Bomber is also the official Lancashire cricket sponsor. You'll find hand-pumped Bomber in village inns, pubs and bars across the county - as well as bottled on supermarket shelves. Thwaites, famed for its shire horses, celebrated 200 years of quality brewing in 2007.
