Robinson Bros Butchers

Founded in 1906 by the grandfather of the present owners Mark and Robert Robinson, the family used to have its own abittoir in nearby Longridge. The Robinsons buy pork and other meat from Bowland Forest Foods and source all their meat locally or from Startifants - their own farm at Chipping. They also sell Lancashire cheese and a recent diversification is uncle bobs dairy ice cream, which is made with milk from their own herd of Aryshire and Jersey Cows.

Opening

Open 9am to noon monday, 9am to 5.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am to 1pm Wednesday and 9am to 1pm Saturday.

The use of personal route finders is recommended, nearest town Longridge, which is easily located from Preston exiting the M6 at junction 31.
