Leighton Moss Tea Rooms

A popular nature reserve set within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an abundance of spectacular wildlife. Our visitor centre has a warm and friendly atmosphere with a tearoom and gift shop in a converted barn. A wide selection of delicious, home-cooked meals available.

We pride ourselves on sourcing high quality., fresh produce, which is organic whenever possible. Try our tempting selection of hand finished cakes made, exclusively for us 'taste of the country' with a pot of refreshing fairtrade tea and coffee. Everyone welcome!

All of our profits help fund the vital wildlife conservation work of the RSPB.

Road Directions

Leave M6 at jct 35 and the reserve is signposted from the A6 at Yealand Redmayne, north of jct 35. The Reserve is just 150m from Silverdale railway station.

Public Transport Directions

Bus from Kendal, Lancaster and Carnforth; close Silverdale train station, Manchester Airport to Barrow Line.
