Homestead Farmshops Lancashire Day Celebrations 2008

From the 27th - 30th November 2008, Homestead Farm's Shop will be holding their annual Lancashire Day celebrations, each day from 1pm - 4.30pm. A traditional Lancashire menu will be served in their newly opened restaurant with magnificent views over WWT Martin Mere including crispy potato Lancashire hotpot, Lancashire cheese and onion potato pie and Fleetwood fish and chips. There will be the opportunity to meet many producers from the regions and sample their goods. Entertainment will take place each day. On Thursday there will be clog dancing, on Friday Crossmoor Honey will be explaining how their honey is made, on Saturday the Town Crier will be demonstrating local dialect and on Sunday Laura Tyson will be signing her new book "Home Grown". This event is definitely not for the food lovers to miss!
