Behind the pubs traditional stone facade is a bright, modern interior decorated in light colors and displaying both modern art and football memrobillia. It has a central bar, which is unusual for Lancashire, with three handpumps.The regular house beer , Thyme, is brewed by Bank Top and badged for the pub. Frequent live music nights are hosted and the pub holds twice-yearly beer festivals. Good value food is served, often using locally sourced ingredients.
