Sea Life Centre, Blackpool

Explore a magical world with over 50 displays of the finest marine and freshwater creatures including sharks,rays, seahorses and piranhas. Step through the sunken galleon, be surrounded by the beautiful Caribbean Reef and see the tropical sharks and shoaling fish that have made their home in the ghostly wreck.

Marsh Mill Windmill, Thornton

This 213 year old restored Tower Mill, with working machinery, is set in the centre of Marsh Mill craft village. Offering a unique introduction to milling of a bygone age, guided tours to the top of the mill are available. Look out for a programme of exhibitions, workshops and childrens'activities throughout the year.

Cross Bay Walks, Morecambe Bay

A challenging and exciting experience, crossing the bay is only possible at low tides with professional leadership. Guides have been employed by the Duchy of Lancaster since 1536 and the latest in a long line is Cedric Robinson.With changing routes and stunning views of the bay this is an experience not to be missed.

Ribble Coast and Wetlands

The Ribble Coast is the most important site in the UK for wintering wildfowl. There are many activities and events which go on throughout the year on the extensive areas
of mud and sand flats.
This area is one of the largest single areas of saltmarsh in England,excellent for bird watching!

Ribble Discovery Centre, St. Annes

Fleetwood Museum

Fleetwood's trawler fleet fished the Artic seas from Newfoundland to Russia. Discover the harsh life of a fisherman and the conditions they endured. See how cockles and mussels,shrimps and salmon were harvested from the treacherous waters of Morecambe Bay.
