Cycling Harrison Fell

With superb countryside, attractive traffic free routes and rugged moorland, you'll find that Lancashire is a great place for cycling.

Head west to the coastal plain, where you will find a network of rural lanes linking attractive villages. To the east the countryside becomes more rugged, as you climb up to the Bowland and Pennine Hills.

In between the hills there are lush rivervalleys to discover like the Lune and Ribble Valleys. Try Dunsop Bridge for a great family fun bike ride or Gisburn Forest for woodland trails and off-road excitement.

Lancashire is also home to a number of cycling festivals and races including Pendle Cycle Festival held annually in July and August. Check the events listing for guided cycle rides and events throughout the year.
