Dam Head Barn is a 400 year old, grade 11 listed barn found in the small village of Roughlee, at the foot of the majestic Pendle Hill, within the Forest of Bowland area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).
The Forest of Bowland is a nationally projected landscape and is internationally important for its heather moorland, blanket bog and rare birds.
Roughlee is an ideal spot for walkers and cyclists but is excellent for a variety of tastes and interests - historic Market Towns, canals, art galleries, museums and a treasure trove for shopping. Barrowford offers small shops specialising in designer shoes and clothes and there is a whole array of mills shops on the doorstep.
In addition, the choice of eating establishments in Pendle is enormous, from excellent traditional pubs and several restaurants for the true gormet, a far cry from the traditional image of Lancashire.
