A warm welcome awaits you at The Derby from the resident proprietors Ivan and Tim. You will find us in the exclusive North Shore area of Blackpool, next to the Hilton Hotel and just a stroll away from Blackpool town centre.

We can offer free parking in front and at the rear of the hotel, with un-restricted parking on neighbouring roads.

We have 11 bedrooms, en suite and standard. We offer extremely comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV with video or DVD player, heating and a very high standard of cleanliness. We offer a personal service that goes that extra mile to give you a holiday to remember.

We offer a wonderful breakfast table with cereals, orange and grapefruit juices, fresh fruit, plus a full cooked English breakfast - all prepared by our own chef and served in our tastefully decorated dining room. Optional evening meals are also available.

You can relax in our guests lounge, complete with 42 inch TV, look out over the Irish Sea and admire the famous Blackpool illuminations from our sun lounge, or enjoy a drink from our well stocked bar.

All the amenities in Blackpool are just a tram ride away, with the nearest stop less than 100 metres from the Derby. Or you can explore whats on offer in Cleveleys or the market and Freeport retail outlet in Fleetwood.

We welcome families with children of all ages (cots are available), couples, senior citizens and conference delegates.

The Derby is open all year round with special Christmas and New Year packages, Turkey and Tinsle weekends, illumination breaks and Monday - Friday specials.

Road Directions

From the Promenade, head north driving along the Promenade, past North Pier. Heading north pass the Imperial Hotel and take the 2nd turning on the right to Derby Road. The Derby Hotel is the 1st hotel on the right.

Public Transport Directions

From Blackpool North Station turn onto Dickson Road heading North. Derby Road is approximately 2/3 mile, opposite the Church Chemist next to the Hilton Hotel.
