Northwest Tourism Awards 2006

Lancashire and Blackpool is now proudly home to the North West's Best Bed and Breakfast, Small Hotel, and the champion of Taste of England's Northwest. This follows success by the area in the England's Northwest Tourism Awards 2006 held at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester on October 24.  

Voted Bed and Breakfast of the Year was Number One in Blackpool, Small Hotel of the Year was Stanley House at Mellor and winner of Taste of England's Northwest was The Three Fishes near Whalley.

Congratulations from Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board to three excellent businesses, who now go on to represent the North West at the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence taking place in London on 18 April 2007.
