Red Herring

In a village dominated by keg outlets, this real ale oasis, formerly the offices of the imposing mill next door, was coverted to a pub some years ago. The bar serves a large single room with an extension, usually offering three beers from micro-breweries. TV sports fans are catered for as are anglers who use the mill pond opposite. The pub hosts regualar music nights and barbecues. Handy for trainspotters, it stands by the West Coast Main Line. The first floor has a large function room.
