Holder of the Quality in Tourism acceditation mark. Ye Horns Inn has all the comforts of a traditional Lancastrian hostelry.
The Inn is renowned for its warm welcome, traditional style of cooking and top quality accommodation.
Dating back to before the 1780's little has changed over the years.
A glorious open fire together with original beams and a unique bar combine to make your visit memorable.
Our restaurant at the "Horns" specializes in traditional North of England cooking!
With home made soups, roasted joints and game, not to mention our famous roast duckling and sticky toffee pudding!
We try, where ever possible, to source our ingredients and products from within Lancashire. As we are blessed with some of the finest meats, poultry and cheeses in the country all on our door step.
Dating back to 1782, Ye Horns Inn at Goosnargh is a lovely atmospheric old pub with original beams, open fire, five dining rooms spread over two floors, six en suite bedroons and a unique bar behind which you can eat. It's a very traditional British menu here with hearty roasts, pies and game to the fore. Roast Goosnargh duckling, slow roasted and served crisp with apple sauce, is the signature dish. The Woods family have been at the helm here for 50 years with brother-and-sister team Mark and Elisabeth continuing the family tradition. Beacon Fell country park is close by and the Copy Nook Hotel in Bolton-by-Bowland is a sister establishment. ( info from sugarvine.com)
