Like many farms, the Dowsons sought to diversify their dairy business after Foot and Mouth. Given her husband and children's passion for ice cream, Mrs. Dowson used the farm's own milk and cream to reinvent classic flavours with a home-made approach.

Exploring local ingredients and tastes, the Dowson family have been testing home recipes around their kitchen table for the last six years. The result is a delectable, creamy brand that you can trust to be as good as it looks.

Look out for the Dowson children's rainbow logo, and remember, Mrs. Dowson is always delighted to discuss new ideas for flavours from ice cream lovers and chefs alike.

From the M6 junction 31 follow signs for Clitheroe A59. We are situated approximately 4 miles along the A59 between Preston and Clitheroe. Look out for the Mrs Dowson Ice Cream signs.
