Blackpool Dance Festival

Get your dancing shoes on! Time to sparkle! Or maybe just to watch the professionals perform their magic in this long-established festival of dance. The Festival covers Ballroom and Latin American dancing. Increasingly popular, over 60 countries will be represented with almost 2000 couples entered in the various events.

The event with possibly the greatest crowd appeal is the annual Professional Invitation Team Match. This started with two teams, Germany and Great Britain, dancing ten dances but for many years there have been four teams invited. Teams from Germany, Japan, Italy, USA, Australia, Russia and Scandinavia have danced in this Team Match which draws awe-inspired crowds every year.
