The much-loved #AmazingAccrington Soapbox Challenge will be returning this bank holiday weekend and thousands of people are expected to line the streets of Accrington once again as local people and businesses go head-to-head to be crowned Soapbox champion.

4. World Gravy Wrestling Championships
The Rose 'N' Bowl

As one of the world's craziest culinary competitions, the World Gravy Wrestling Championship is always popular with visitors. The wild and whacky wrestling competition takes place in a pool full of Lancashire Gravy, as contestants wrestle to become champion and raise money for charity.
