Set in its own secluded landscapes of lawned gardens and grounds, it is a tranquil haven, yet very well located to access the motorway network, it’s the ideal base for those who love to explore Lancashire and the surrounding areas.
Blending period splendour with the very best contemporary luxury and 27 comfortable bedrooms, it’s a perfect location to stay and explore Lancashire and a great stop off point when traveling between north and south, as its easily accessible from the M6 motorway. Leyland train station is within easy walking distance from the hotel and connects with the Preston main line station.
Farington Lodge Hotel offers on- site complimentary car parking and wifi, and welcomes well behaved family dogs in some ground floor rooms. To book a dog friendly room, please request at the time of booking.
For period splendour, the Classic rooms are sited in the original house on the first floor, including seven of the original Classic bedrooms, plus a junior suite and superior suite, both suites include spacious bedrooms with lounge furniture and window seats and feature bathrooms. The superior suite has a king size bed and stunning views of the gardens. The junior suite would accommodate three extra folding beds for a young family, for a small charge including their breakfast.
The Executive rooms are spacious with additional seating and a desk area to work at with good lighting. The en suite bathrooms offering separate bath and walk in shower in most of the rooms. There are also two wet rooms, one of which is on the ground floor offering assisted facilities. For families, up to two extra folding beds for children can be added for a small charge which includes their breakfast, in executive rooms. Please request any folding beds at the time of booking.
There are two twin bedded Classic rooms and two twin bedded Executive rooms, other Classic rooms have double beds and Executive rooms have queen size beds.
Farington Lodge Hotel offers a comfortable lounge area, and terrace where you can relax with a drink and dine informally if you choose as well as a traditional dining room in the Georgian house with a stunning coving and ceiling and original fire place, with lovely views over the gardens. The hotel offers great food and service from a friendly and professional team, who will do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
Farington Lodge Hotel is superbly located to access Lancashire, whether its historic Lancashire with its grand period houses, fascinating castles and working museums of life in textile Lancashire or steam train rides through the valleys and canal boat trips.
Lancashire includes some of the most scenic walks and trails, including the Lancashire cheese train, the spooky story of the Pendle Witch trail, the Tolkien trail, likely to have inspired Lord of the Rings or walk in the footsteps of the Bronte sisters and discover what inspired their most famous literary works.
