59 reviewsOrmskirk Market is renowned for being one of the UK’s oldest and most traditional outdoor markets. Granted a Royal Charter in 1286 by King Edward I, this popular and well-loved market has been held in Ormskirk ever since.
Now hosted every Thursday and Saturday the pedestrianised streets around the famous Clock Tower offer around 100 stalls, attracting a variety of shoppers each market day.
Even after all this time Ormskirk Market still retains its historic charm whilst providing something for everyone. With a great range of food stalls showcasing Lancashire’s local food offer you’ll find fresh artisan breads, homemade pies, olives, fine cheeses, and fresh local produce including fish, meat and vegetables and there is often live music and entertainment.
You’ll also find a selection of clothing stalls, plants and flowers, cards and stationery, cosmetics, bedding, household goods, hardware and pet supplies.
There are also speciality markets & events throughout the year.
