The charity golf day has been organised in support of NCH, the children's charity and Marie Curie.
The day of 18 holes of golf has an added twist with local produce served from picnic baskets at alternate holes as part of Lancashire Picnic Month. The event has been organised by Mytton Fold Hotel & Golf Complex, Mytton Fold Golf Club & Rotary Club of Clitheroe and will help raise much-needed funds for NCH projects in Lancashire which work closely with children, young people and families offering a range of services to give them the best possible start in life.
Catherine Butterworth, NCH Fundraiser said, "We are delighted the Rotary Club decided to organise this event. The picnic and food tasting is a great idea and will be a great day out for all the golfers. NCH helps children achieve their full potential. Through our services we support some of the most vulnerable and excluded children across the region and this event will help us to continue our vital work supporting parents and families in Lancashire."
Teams of four golfers will enjoy the 18 hold course and sample Lancashire produce during the day, all donated from local companies in support of the event.
