Ribchester Pub recieves a Michelin award

The White Bull in Ribchester has been awarded one of the country's top food awards, Michelin's Bib Gourmand.

Bib Gourmands are awarded annually for the fine quality of the cooking based on an inspector visit.

The distinction is granted to establishments offering "good food at moderate prices".

Out of the 33 new entries in the Michelin Guide 2008, The White Bull is the only one that is in Lancashire, although Lancashire has many establishments that have featured in the guide for several years.

Lancashire has built up a great reputation for great quality food and drink and it is great to have many establishments that hold Michelin, and other food awards.
