Keith Harris - Fillet Steak and Pepper Sauce

Keith Harris and OrvilleBeing on the road touring for the last 40 years and eating at greasy spoon cafes or Indian food or whatever you can get at 2am in the morning I love to get home to a traditional Sunday roast of which lamb is my favourite with roast parsnips, roast potatoes, asparagus and cauliflower cheese.

I enjoy cooking and one of my recipes is fillet steak with a pepper sauce. First cook the steak on a griddle to suite and to make the sauce ground some black peppercorns cook in a pan with a tiny bit of oil add a couple of table spoons of Lee and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of H.P. sauce a drop of vinegar stir it all up and then add double cream. Take the steak put it into the pan on a very low heat for about 3 minutes serve it with sauté potatoes, fresh asparagus and sweet corn - fantastic.

Failing this roast a duck!!!
