Now an enitre season celebrating the combination of great Lancashire food and culture, 2008 will embrace the traditional harvest months of August and September, with the highlight weekend of the 4th -7th September featuring a packed programme of food lovers' fantasies during the third Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food and Culture. Come rain or shine, we welcome you to sample the delights of Lancashire's larder and our famous hospitality.

In 2007 TV audiences laughed themselves silly throughout the World Gravy Wrestling Championships whilst thousands more food lovers experienced gastronomic adventures across the county. From Gourmet ghostwalks to mushroom picking experiences, via Tudor banquets to celebrity chef gala evenings; experience this riotous and colourful carnival featuring Lancashire's finest chefs, producers, restaurateurs, venues and attractions.
