16th-century hostelry with a rich history of brewing ale, selling sack-cloth, & cock-fighting. It now serves an eclectic modern menu of internationally-tinged British dishes.

We use local suppliers & produce whenever we can. Our suppliers include Ray Edmondson, shrimper extraodinaire from Morecambe & Colin (J) Bowker from Bolton-le-Sands who uses only Lancashire & Cumbrian Farms for his meat.
