Blackpool Pleasure Beach is once again pulling back the curtain on its popular Christmas Grotto event. A true winter wonderland, the Grotto offers a COVID secure way for little ones to get in the festive spirit.
Visitors will be greeted by festive elves and guided through Blackpool Pleasure Beach's very own North Pole, before meeting the star of the show – Father Christmas. A truly interactive experience, the elves will ensure all children have a present to put under the tree this winter season.
To make the experience even more magical, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is offering little ones the chance to choose their favourite bear, before stuffing it with love and taking it home for hugs, at the Create Your Own Bear Workshop. Discussing the Christmas Grotto event, Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson OBE, said: "We love celebrating Christmas at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and always pride
ourselves on delivering special seasonal events. We are looking forward to seeing all the excited children.
"It has been a very strange time for us all and we can't wait to sprinkle some festive magic for all the
families at our fabulous Christmas Grotto."
Opening on December 5th, the Grotto will be open between 10:30am and 5pm every Saturday and
Sunday until December 20 th and then daily until Christmas Eve.
Tickets start from £13.99 per child, if booked online in advance, including a gift from Santa and a
piping hot chocolate with marshmallows. For those looking to take home a furry friend, you can save
£3.99 on the Create Your Own Bear Workshop by adding it to your online booking. For parents in the
Christmas spirit, the Grotto provides complimentary entry for two accompanying adults within the
Grotto. Free parking will also be provided.
In line with the current government COVID-19 regulations, Blackpool Pleasure Beach asks that
visitors wear a face covering at all times and ensure social distancing is in place.
