Head Chef at The Coach & Horses, Ian Moss has had a notable career to date. Starting his career in London, at establishments such as The Goring Hotel, The Ledbury and The Harwood Arms, Ian is classically trained and focuses his attention on using the best, seasonal ingredients to create a refined, elegant menu which is full of flavour and character. After moving up North, Ian spent time under Nigel Haworth and Lisa Allen, as Sous Chef at Northcote and Head Chef at The Three Fishes before moving to The Coach & Horses, where he has created a number of menus to suit everyone’s tastes, from an informal sandwich menu to a casual fine dining a la carte menu, featuring dishes such as Crab, watermelon, pea puree, wasabi mayonnaise & brown crab cigar and Venison, baked beetroots, potato and thyme terrine. Staying true to the pub’s heritage, Ian’s menus also include classics such as rib eye steak, beer battered haddock and chips and Eton Mess.
