Lancashire Cheese

Cheese glorious cheese! Here in Lancashire we are well known for our cheese, as well as lots of other lovely produce. And not only one type of cheese, we love cheese that much we have three types. Yes three: Creamy, Crumbly and Tasty.

Throughout the county there are lots of farms and dairies producing delicious Lancashire cheese. Some of Lancashire's well know cheese producers include Dewlay, Mrs Kirkham's, Singleton's Dairy, Leagram's and Butlers.

But our cheesemaking isn't restricted to the fabulous Lancashire varieties. We have skilled cheesemakers producing goats cheese, sheeps milk cheese, soft cheese and other varieities.

We have also got lots of great farm shops and farmers markets selling their cheeses and lots of other Lancashire food and drink.
