Michelin starred Northcote
Giving an intimate, first hand experience of a Michelin star kitchen, take part in an inspirational cookery class with expert chefs. Choose from a variety of courses with half and full day options.
Afternoon / Evening
Brindle Distillery
Join a 3-4 hour experience and try the award-winning Cuckoo Gin. This workshop combines an informal talk about the founding of the distillery and its gin with a tour and the chance to create your own blend of botanicals in a mini pot still, resulting in your own recipe 70cl full size bottle of gin. Your recipe will be signed off by the Master Distiller and kept on record for future reordering.
Day 2
Holmes Mill/Bowland Brewery
Head up to Clitheroe where you’ll find this stunning mill conversion offering a unique celebration of Lancashire food, drink and entertainment including brewery tours, bistro, food hall and events. The beer hall is home to one of the longest continuous bars in the UK – just over 105 feet and offers 42 hand pulls and a minimum of 24 individual cask beers at any one time. Enjoy a tour of the brewery and lift the lid on some of the secrets of a great craft beer.
Food lovers can also take a stroll around the charming historic market town of Clitheroe which is well known for its plethora of specialist shops. Award-winning Byrnes Wine Shop is famous for its enormous underground cellar bursting with unusual vintages from all over the world. Cowman’s Famous Sausage Shop sells more than 75 sausage varieties while the Exchange Coffee Company stocks more than 35 coffees and 60 specialist teas.
