113 reviewsThe Folly coffee house is situated within the heart of Worden Park, Leyland. Due to the refurbishment of Worden Hall the cafe has temporarily been moved to a unit within the courtyard of Worden Arts and Craft Centre.
The park is a popular destination for families, dog walkers, well just about everyone as it boasts scenic walks, crazy golf, a maze, formal gardens, an arts and craft centre, childrens play area and even a steam train.
While enjoying the activities the park has to offer, The Folly is the ideal place to enjoy a bite to eat and one of Robert's and Co's award winning coffees or cool down with one of Mrs Dowsons ice creams with 7 wonderful flavours to choose from. They pride theirselves on serving the highest standard of food using fresh, local ingrediants. All of their mixed leaf and rocket is cut fresh every morning from their local family farm and all of the meat is from the renowned butchers Clarksons of Leyland.
They offer a varied menu at the Folly ranging from all day breakfat (vegan option available) nibbles, platters, classic sandwiches, speciality sandwiches, homemade cakes, homemade scones and much more. One of their main focuses is to offer something for everyone, therefore the majority of their food and drinks menu can be made gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. They try their best to cater for all dietry requirements but if they are missing something please do not hesitate to let them know and they will do their best to provide this upon your visit.
The Folly coffee house is dog friendly throughout and their Doggy Deli, is proving to be a huge success. There is also free WIFI available.
