The Wheatsheaf Inn

At The Wheatsheaf the importance of providing high quality food in a relaxing environment is understood.

You can refuel after a hard day walking in the Dales, or simply grab a light bite to eat after exploring the village.   The ingredients are as locally sourced as possible, using higher welfare Yorkshire chicken, and local beef from award-winning butchers at Country Harvest.  All food is prepared to the highest standard by a dedicated kitchen team. Food is homemade, traditional and comforting.

At The Wheatsheaf you can relax and socialise with people you care about in a friendly atmosphere.  A family friendly, dog friendly pub, where muddy boots and muddy paws are welcome.  You can relax, chat with the locals and enjoy the cosy log fire during the winter.  Whether you’re celebrating a special day or just want a night off from your own kitchen.

A beautiful beer garden at the rear of The Wheatsheaf with plenty of space for the kids to have fun on the play equipment.  The garden has the sun all day, every table has an umbrella for shade and the canopy area can provide some respite on a hot summers day.  The garden is the perfect place to spend a warm afternoon.
