Gibbon Bridge is one of the premier Lancashire wedding hotels offering couples the opportunity of a garden wedding venue or an inside venue depending on the time of year.
They have recently completed some refurbishment of the bar, conservatory and terrace to open up the room and enable you and your guests to enjoy the beautiful gardens and view even more.
Over the last thirty one years, thousands of couples have entrusted them with the very important job of staging their wedding day whether it be a civil ceremony, a civil marriage and a wedding breakfast or a wedding reception. Gibbon Bridge pride themselves on offering a professional and individual service, which ensures everyone experiences the romantic day of their dreams, in the most beautiful and dramatic rural location of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
In 1995 they had the honour of being the very first wedding hotel in Lancashire to host a civil ceremony outside of the county's registry offices. The groom that day was in fact the impressionist and comedian Phil Cool. Since then many couples including Jane Danson - Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby - have taken their vows in either the unique setting of the Garden Bandstand or the Cavalier Room and celebrated their union with a wonderful wedding breakfast.
The Conservatory has recently been refurbished with glass floor to ceiling windows adjoining the terrace - opening up the room and allowing even more spectacular views of the garden and fell.
In Spring 2010 The Gibbon Bridge Orangery was completed and is now available for civil ceremonies and smaller wedding breakfasts.
So, whether you are planning a small intimate gathering or a large event, the team at Gibbon Bridge will ensure that your day is planned to perfection. Combining many years of experience with a high class Lancashire wedding hotel; award winning gardens; elegant private function rooms; the option for exclusivity, personal service and value for money and you have the perfect venue for your perfect day!
There are some minimum requirements with regard to certain days and months and anyone requiring an evening function. Full details can be found on the Summer Weddings and Winter Weddings pages on their website.
