The Whitaker

The Whitaker has spaces available to hire during the day for breakfast meetings, presentations, product launches, private dining and corporate away days.  Flooded with natural daylight and views across the Rossendale Valley, the space is well suited to working closely with colleagues or clients, offering an inspiring space to help fuel new ideas and creative thinking.  The museum is also set in its own park which gives delegates the opportunity to breakaway and explore during breaks.

The Whitaker Museum is traditional and a contemporary museum, but with a modern twist that has been in the life of the Rossendale Valley for over one hundred years.  The Whitaker is located in the Rossendale Valley and set within the beautiful Whitaker Park.

With two rooms available to hire.  What was once the stable block for the original house has been redeveloped for diverse room hire, creating a great unique venue.  With its tall white walls, beautiful wooden floors, and high arched windows overlooking Whitaker Park.  The second meeting room is located upstairs, across from gallery rooms.  With a high quality screen and all your away day requirements in one room.  Breakaway into the museum to explore on your lunch breaks.  This is also a great opportunity for a team activity.

​​​​Catering can be provided by the in-house team or an accredited supplier.  From tea and coffee to freshly prepared buffets or hot meals.  ​​​​​The bar and kitchen provides locally sourced and fresh products into the kitchen, to fill your day with heart warming food.  From a selection of different set menus to buffet style menus to choose from.  With a fully licensed bar on-site serving a range of drinks, including cocktails and coffees.
