334 reviewsWelcome to Canal Boat Cruises, we are the fun, unique,multi award-winning family canal boat company operated by John and Lesley Yates and their children Ellie, Bridie and Louis.
If you’re looking for something different, then choosing accommodation on one of our canal boats is just that. Not only do you experience luxury accommodation with all the modern amenities, you can relax and take in the ever-changing scenery on your doorstep as you cruise through the countryside.
Whether you wish to experience the waterways on a short break, take a weekend to cruise locally or book a full boating holiday, you can rest assured that you will receive a warm welcome, first class service and luxury accommodation.
Beginners and novices welcome as we give full tuition and guidance on manoeuvring the boat and guide you through at least six locks.
Families are also welcome and we provide life vests for all infants, children and adults.
Bridie Bear - 2 to 4 berth boat - built in 2014
Layla Boa - 2 to 6 berth boat - built in 2013
King Louis - 4 to 8 berth boat built in 2013
If you would like to hire Romance on an exclusive basis then their charter cruises are for you. Romance can be chartered by the hour for up to 37 guests, including crew and your choice of catering. 3 hours (minimum hire) £425 hourly rate after 3 hours £150 per hour. The price includes boat master, cabin manager and cabin staff.
