Orchard Glamping

Self catering accommodation luxury pods available throughout the year in the glorious Lancashire countryside.  Orchard Glamping is the perfect retreat in which to explore the great outdoors. Located on a beautiful patch of land, part of the Richardson’s family farm in near Garstang, Preston.

Positioned next to the canal, the river and a small woodland, the site offers a multitude of activities for families and couples who just want to get out and immerse themselves in the countryside. Close to the Trough of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, Orchard Glamping sits smack bang in the middle of Preston and Lancaster in the beautiful market town of Garstang. 

The 3 pods are hand-built, luxury self-contained apartments, sure to impress visiting guests.  You can expect lovely fresh linen sheets on all the beds and a bath and hand towel for each guest.  Included is a fully fitted kitchen with hob, fridge with small built in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.  There is a fitted double bed and bunk beds, hanging rail for clothes, spacious shower room with toilet and sink. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area which pulls out to a comfortable sofa bed.  The pods are fully insulated with under floor heating to keep you extra cosy in the cooler evenings or winter months. There is a television and wi-fi is available.  For family breaks the Blossom Cottage is perfect, sleeping up to 6 guests.  

With Local destinations including the Flower Bowl at Barton Grange (including curling, cinema and crazy golf), Billy Bobs Ice Cream Parlour or try the wonderful local cheese from Dewlay, just slightly further afield is the home of Highest Point music festival, Williamson Park in Lancaster or why not bed down after a night at Blackpool Illuminations.

Guests can benefit from lots of farm activities - planting, sowing seeds, egg collecting, seeing newborn calves. The fruit orchard and area around the farm provides an opportunity to go fruit picking when in season. Hampers can be provided whilst you stay, giving you the chance to try the wonderful home farm produced meat, eggs, honey and jam.
