321 reviewsRed Bank Farm Campsite is a small family run camping and motor home site on a working farm, situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay. With stunning panoramic views of the Lakeland hills, you can see some of the most beautiful sunsets that England has to offer! The On-Site pets corner and beachside location make it ideal for young and old alike.
Also on site is our comfortable, family run café which is full of character and was converted from a lambing shed. This is situated at the front of the site overlooking Morecambe Bay across to the Lakeland hills and is somewhere villagers and visitors meet to relax and welcome friends. On a hot day you can sit outside overlooking the Bay and on cooler days sit cosily by the woodburners.
Sample one of our homemade cakes baked with our own eggs or if you are looking for something more substantial, we have a wide choice of meals and snacks ranging from homemade soups to our every popular lamb burger made with our very own salt marsh lamb or Morecambe Bay potted shrimps to name a few. Food is served all day from 9.30 to 3.00pm Tuesday to Friday and till 3.30pm weekends, specials are available from 12 pm. The cafe is close on Mondays except on Bank Holidays.
The seaside town of Morecambe, the village of Heysham and the historic city of Lancaster are both within 5 miles, and its only a short drive to The Lake District National Park and The Yorkshire Dales. For those who enjoy walking, the Lancashire Coastal Way runs right through our farm. If you are an avid ornithologist, the whole area is a preservation site for birds and is listed as a place of special scientific interest.
