The Assheton Arms is an iconic Lancashire country inn, located in the village of Downham in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Located in the breathtaking Ribble Valley, just a stone’s throw away from Pendle Hill, the Assheton Arms is the perfect base to explore the local countryside.
The 12 beautifully designed bedrooms and stunning views of Pendle Hill are worth staying in bed for, but the hearty breakfast will be worth getting up for. For a peaceful night’s sleep, slip between crisp cotton sheets, rest your head on a feather pillow and curl up beneath a super-soft goose-down duvet. En-suite bathrooms allow you to pamper yourself with huge fluffy white towels to wrap yourself up in.
Enjoy a selection of Bowland Brewery’s award-winning ales, warm hospitality, delicious food and a great night’s sleep. The perfect stay at a country inn. The Assheton Arms is now part of the James’ Places collection of inns, restaurants and hotels located in the Ribble Valley, Lune Valley and Yorkshire Dales.
