What was once a privately owned Victorian country house, is now a Lavender Hotel, a haven of peace and tranquility. The views over Pendle Hill are sure to tempt you out into the surrounding Pennine Lancashire countryside and don’t forget that many of Lancashire's museums and attractions, all within a short distance.
Each of the 50 rooms are spacious and light, offering a dedicated area for sleeping and working, ensuring the ultimate comfortable nights sleep. The peaceful surroundings add to the feeling of tranquillity and come together to provide a wonderfully relaxing environment.
There’s also a choice of stunning executive rooms located within the ‘old house’ that offer luxury from a bygone era. With original features such as ornate ceilings, feature beds, impressive sash windows and private lounge area, complemented by high tech bathrooms that offer plenty of space, large baths, built in televisions and rain showers with mood lighting to complete the experience.
Both the restaurant and the bar are situated in the old house. Dark wood panelling, ornate ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with glorious views and home cooked food is one of the main features of the menus, offering a wide range of locally-sourced produce. Visitors can choose from a hearty selection of traditional favourites or lighter bites, all prepared by highly skilled chefs, complimented by a large selection of wines from around the world.
To clear your mind at the end of a busy day there is no place better than the leisure club. Boasting a fully equipped gym, with separate stretching and warm up area, indoor heated 10m pool, steam room and choice of two Jacuzzis.
