Nestled in the picturesque village of Scorton and popular with walkers, The Priory Inn offers a warm welcome to all visitors. With parts of the building dating back to 1650, the Priory has evolved from a blacksmiths into the boutique hotel, café bar and restaurant that it is today adding a real sense of authenticity.
Situated just off the A6 and right on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Forest of Bowland, it’s the perfect based to explore the surrounding countryside and market towns.
After a day exploring the area you can sample the fine selection of local ales from Bowland Brewery and Daniel Thwaites served in Stouts Bar, or perhaps try some of the local favourites served up in the restaurant. From Steak pie and Chunky chips to Afternoon tea, The Priory is the perfect place to eat whatever time of day.

Got a birthday, anniversary you want to celebrate? Looking for that special location for your wedding day? Then The Priory is the place for you! Seating up to 60 guests and up to 100 for the evening party, they specialise in intimate celebrations for that personal touch.

Cycle Lancashire 2014From the South - M6 (J32) follow A6 north past Garstang. Follow the brown sign 1 mile north of Garstang and take a right turn into Gubberford Lane. Follow this for 1.5 miles to the centre of the village. From the North - M6 (J33) follow A6 4 miles. Follow the brown sign and turn left into Station Lane.. Go over the river and under the railway. After 1 mile you arrive in the centre of Scorton.
Main line railway stations at Preston or Lancaster. Then from the respective bus stations bus number 40 or 41 to Cabus Nooik Lane. Walk down Station Lane (opposite Cabus Nook Lane) to the centre of Scorton Nook.
