Established in 1906 Rawtenstall Market, Newchurch Rd BB4 7QX, is an outside open marketplace with a characterful market hall. Market days are Thursday and Saturday 9:00 - 16:00 whatever the weather.
You will find fresh produce, butchers, fishmongers, traditional deli, Italian deli, fresh coffee and cakes, as well as Africa Al’s handmade African sauces. Pet food and goods are also available.
On the outside market, there are a range of permanent and guest stalls offering takeaway food and drink - Thai Shack - Thai and Asian cuisine; Pizza Box - handmade pizzas; Tahina - vegan plant kitchen; The Stinky Chef - Italian takeaway, Chicken Coop - all things chicken and The Juice Bar - fresh juices, milkshakes and sweet treats.
On Saturdays the market is host to pop up street food traders.

Take the A56 towards Manchester/Bury/M66/Accrington/A679, and at the roundabout take the exit onto Blackburn Road/A680 heading towards Haslingden. Take the left at Hud Rake and left at Rake Foot. Take the slight right to stay on Rake Foot. Continue onto Kirk Hill Road, and then onto Haslingden Old Road, and then onto Newchurch Road. The market is on the right. From M66: Continue onto the A56 and take the right at A682 signposted for Rawtenstall. Turn left at Schofield Road. Turn right at Haslingden Old Road. Continue onto Newchurch Road and the market is on the left. Entering Rawtenstall from Bury or Haslingden, keep to the left of the roundabout along St Mary's Way in the direction of the A682 [Burnley Road]. Turn right at the cross roads [set of traffic lights] into Newchurch Road. The market is situated on the left. Car parking is available behind the market.
