Beginners
Part of this fantastic experience that comes along with flying across the sky is the confidence and adrenaline rush that goes along with attempting an extreme sport. Plus you don't have to suffer through months of physical training to go skydiving, you just have to take a deep breath and commit to trying it.
Intermediate
'I'm now a qualified solo skydiver, so what now?' So you did it, you're now qualified. This is where the fun really starts! It's time to develop the skills to enable you to skydive with others. Speak to any of the instructors or coaches or contact the team for more information. Information on training, progression, coaching and competing available. Whatever you want to work on will be able to be provided with all the help you need.
Advanced
Once you have qualified and have achieved some of your goals, you might decide to work towards some of the more advanced skydiving disciplines. There are many options to choose from such as Formation Skydiving big ways, Freestyle Skydiving, Freefly Groups, Wingsuiting, Tracking Groups, Canopy Formation and Swooping to name just a few. At Black Knights Parachute Centre, they are commited to offering the best advice and coaching possible in order for you to progress safely.
Tandem Skydiving
This gives you to opportunity to experience one of the best adrenaline fuelled extreme sports available. You will be assigned to a fully qualified and experienced instructor for your jump from an altitude of up to 15,000 ft and reaching a speed of 120mph.
The training requirements for Tandem Skydiving is shorter than for our solo jump courses, you'll begin with a 20 minute pre-jump briefing by your highly experienced British Parachute Association Instructor. After this, you will be provided with a skydiver's jumpsuit to go over your clothes (you should wear comfortable clothing, such as a track suit, and a pair of trainers). After fitting the tandem parachute harness, appropriate headgear and goggles it will take just around 14 minutes in the aircraft to reach altitude.
After exiting the aircraft you will freefall until the instructor opens the main parachute at about 5000 feet. You will freefall at a speed of around 120 miles per hour! The descent under the large square parachute will take several minutes, during which time you will help to steer it down to the landing area. You can even have one of our freefall camera flyers join you on your Tandem Skydive and take a memorable freefall video to help you remember your skydive and to show your friends.
