The Fylde Gallery at Lytham Hall is a free to visit, first floor gallery space with a curated exhibition programme that features contemporary artists as well as the Lytham St Annes Art Collection, formed in 1925. The gallery showcases the collection’s most treasured artworks, including recently conserved paintings. The Lytham St Annes Art Collection is a significant public art collection. Normally to be viewed on a Heritage Open Day at Fylde Council’s Town Hall, it is one of the largest and most diverse Town Hall collections in the country. Comprised entirely of works amassed through public donation, the collection contains works by notable artists such as Henry Fuseli and Charles Burton Barber, as well as works by lauded local and regional artists.
The Fylde Gallery at Lytham Hall is free to visit with voluntary donations always welcome to reinvest back into the art collection and the venue is accessible by its own staircase, just adjacent to the cafe and inner courtyard. There is a parking fee payable at the on-site car parks.
