Go Ape activity

You can find Go Ape Rivington in the heart of Lancashire, a 20-minute drive from Bolton.  Tucked away in the borough of Chorley the high ropes experience lies adjacent to Lower Rivington Reservoir.  If you're looking for things to do and a fun day out close to Manchester look no further.

Days out at Go Ape are about having fun and creating unforgettable memories.  Whether you are a thrill seeker looking for action-packed fun or simply after some quality time with friends and family, adventure is covered.

From super-fast zipwires and tree top crossings, to high-wire bridges and free-fall Tarzan swings.  A Go Ape experience not only boosts your sense of well-being it's great for self-esteem and keeps you active.

Treetop challenge:
An exhilarating self-guided two - three journey through the forest canopy.   Take a big gulp of fresh air and hold on tight.  You’ll be tackling canopy-height crossings, leaping off free-fall Tarzan swings and riding high-speed ziplines.  There’s nothing like action-packed fun, laughing your head off and screaming your lungs out.  Designed for young couples, friends and families with kids over the age of 10.   This is one of Lancashire's best outdoor activities and the only Go Ape to feature a zip wire over water.  Fact.  Grown-up fun in the great outdoors.  Take the time to waste a moment.
