Knott End Cycle Route

The Knot End route is a 25 mile long circular route which should take a rider 3 hours. It is a flat, on-road route with splendid views of the Wyre estuary, Fleetwood, coastline from Knott End and views of the Bowland Fells on the return.

The Knott End route should be considered ideal for families keen to increase distance and explore the over Wyre area west of Garstang to the coast. The outward journey via Pilling, while the return is via Preesall, Stalmine and Out Rawcliffe.

The route combines the quiet country lanes of over Wyre with the busy centre at Knott End. Take care on short sections of the A588 as single file is required.

In addition to Garstang town centre at the start and finish, drinks, snacks, toilets and shops are all available in Knott End. Why not try the Knott End cafe at the ferry terminal?
