Marsh Mill was constructed in 1794 and is a Grade II* listed Tower Windmill, one of the best in the UK with working machinery. It offers a unique introduction to milling of a bygone age. The Mill is open during special event dates in 2020 during which the sails will turn (weather dependant) there are also guided tours, exhibitions, events, childrens activities and live performances. The mill is set in the centre of Marsh Mill Village with shops and free entertainment takes place throughout the year.
The Mill will be open Easter weekend , National Mills Weekend in May, Thornton Gala in June, Marsh Mill Birthday in October, Heritage Open Days in September, Marsh Mill Birthday in October and Christmas Lights Switch On in November plus other events throughout the year.
School and Special Interest Group Visits are welcome throughout the year but must be booked in advance 01253 887445

Leave the M55 at Junction 3 signposted Fleetwood. Follow the A585 (Fleetwood) for approx 6 miles until reaching the third roundabout. Marsh Mill is signposted from here, turn right and after about ½ a mile look out for a sign on your left.
By Public Transport: Buses from Cleveleys, Fleetwood, Poulton-le-Fylde and Blackpool. By Rail: Nearest Train Station (3 miles), Poulton-le-Fylde with regular connections from Preston and Blackpool.
