RSPB Fairhaven Lake Visitor Centre, situated on the edge of the lake, offers a warm welcome. Providing information about the lake’s heritage as well as the local wildlife. Being on the Ribble Estuary there is a wide range of birdlife to see and chat about.
The centre also provides daily family friendly activities, hot drinks, bird feeding and gifts as well as there being a wide range of binoculars and ‘scopes in stock.
The centre hosts a fabulous education programme for schools with unique hands-on sessions discovering the secrets of the Ribble Estuary.
Family friendly events run throughout the spring and summer as well as a series of guided bird walks in the autumn and winter.
