Penny Farm is a horse rescue and rehabilitation centre operated by the charity World Horse Welfare. They welcome visitors 3 days a week to meet the ponies and find out more about the work of the charity.
The main stable area is indoors so visitors can enjoy the facilities whatever the weather. Visitors are also welcome to walk around the fields & paddocks. During the summer months we also have an activity trail around the farm.
The farm welcomes group visits by appointment outside our normal opening hours.
The visitors centre is open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 11am – 4pm, and on bank holidays. Admission is free and there is free parking – as a charity donations are welcomed.
The visitor centre also has a small gift shop and a coffee shop selling snacks and a wide range of homemade cakes and there is also a picnic area which can be enjoyed during in the summer months.

Penny Farm has achieved the Visitor Ready badge which means that the farm has a commitment to compliance with core standards. Visitors can enjoy the farm with confidence knowing that all the necessary legal checks are in place.

The farm also offers birthday parties suitable for children age 6yrs+
