Bonfire Fireworks

The Annual Blackburn Charity Bonfire Night and Firework display will take place at Witton Country Park, Blackburn on Saturday, 6th November 2021. 5pm – 9:30pm - Fairground Rides - Food – Live music on stage – Bonfire - Firework Display

Pay on the gate.

Adults £4:00, Children £1.00 Family £10:00,  Family ticket will be for 2 x adults and up to 4 x kids under 14 years old.

This year we also have the option of cashless payment on the gate.

Blackburn Charity Bonfire is brought to you again this year with the combined efforts of Blackburn Round Table - Blackburn Lions - Blackburn Rotary club - all monies raised donated to local charities.
This years main charities are: East Lancashire Hospital Trust & Me, Blackburn Samaritans, Blackburn police cadets, plus other local charities that come forward throughout the year.

Car Parking: All the Car parks are marshalled:

Witton Park School (Buncer Lane) 3 x car parks charge £2 per car

Cartmel Road No 1 (Scapa car park)Large car park charge £2 per car

All weather football pitch car park (Preston Old Road) designated Disabled car park (Blue badge holders)

Pleaseington playing fields (Tower Road) Free car park

There are 3 pedestrian entrances in to Witton Park:

Buncer Lane (By Witton Park School)

Preston Old Road (Main gate) very busy from 6.30 onwards

Foot bridge (all weather football pitches)

Approximate times:

Fairground rides & Food open 5.00 pm

Live music on stage 6.30 pm

Bonfire lit 7.30 pm (Target time)

Firework display 8.00 pm (Target time)

Park closes 9.30 pm

Road Directions

Witton Country Park is approx 1 mile to the west of Blackburn town centre and 2 miles from junction 3 of the M65. Parking is free on the main car park just off Preston Old Road (A674)  on Pleasington Paying Fields. Other nearby sites are £2 per car. 

Public Transport Directions

The park is served by local buses and is about 1/2 mile from Cherry Tree rail station. By Bus - service No. 152 to Preston departing from Stand 14 Blackburn Bus Station.
