During the last two weeks of the summer holidays there will be 10 incredible summer holiday-themed sand sculptures, created by Hebden Bridge-based Sand In Your Eye, installed in businesses across Blackburn Town Centre.
There will be a three day live carve, where approximately two tonnes of sand will be brought in to create a live ‘Under the Sea’ scene, with carvings of sea creatures.
Trail maps will be available from the Ask Me Point in The Mall shopping centre, showing the location of each of the models. At each of the sculptures will be some facts and figures and if you answer all the quiz questions correctly on the back of the booklet and hand it in to the Ask Me Point you will be in with a chance of winning £100.00 in high street vouchers.
