Darwen Festival of Fun

The Darwen Festival of Fun is now in its fourth year. 

This is a free event that promises to be a day filled with family fun, laughter, and culture.

Darwen Market Square will come alive with immersive roving characters, engaging workshops, a comedy show, a roaming music band, and dance showcases, creating a vibrant atmosphere for local families and visitors alike.  

The Darwen Monthly Artisan Market, brimming with makers and creators, alongside delectable street food, will add to the spirit of the day.

Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist, Steve Royle, will be headlining this year's event.  Steve Royle, known for his hilarious and impressive juggling acts, will bring his unique comedy juggling routines and humorous stage show to Darwen.  You won't want to miss his performance that left the judges in stitches and the audience amazed.

Fat Cat Brass. This high-energy brass band features four horn players and two drummers on stilts, playing original arrangements of classic pop tunes from the last five decades.  Get ready to sing and dance.

Crystal Ball Magic Man.  Watch the mesmerising contact juggling skills of one of the world's most experienced jugglers.  His visually stunning performances are sure to captivate you.

Lancashire Dance Academy.  Witness the grace and talent of the Lancashire Dance Academy as they showcase their stunning dance routines. These performers bring a mix of styles and incredible energy to the stage.

Zoë Taylor Dance Academy.  Enjoy the vibrant and dynamic performances by the Zoë Taylor Dance Academy, known for their impressive choreography and passionate dancers.

Nature workshop and wishing tree.  Participate in fun and creative activities to raise environmental awareness, and share your wish for a brighter world on the wishing tree.

Free face painting.  Bring the kids for delightful face painting, with a wide selection of fun designs to choose from.
