Over the last 30 years he has been News Editor at Rock FM and Red Rose Radio in Preston and presented a daily show on BBC Radio Lancashire and BBC Radio Manchester. Since graduating with a degree in history he has been involved in re-enacting the Tudor, Stuart and Napoleonic periods. John has been a Lancashire Morris Man, a storyteller and is the Town Crier of Saint Anne's on the Sea.

The tour starts at 11am & 2pm

Entry is completely free, so we do ask that if you have enjoyed your visit, please pop a few pennies in one of our donation buckets... or why not enjoy Lunch in the Heritage Cafe, or waffles at Dotties?  Samlesbury Hall is a registered charity (no 526052) and every penny spent going straight back into keeping our historic roof on!
