Georgia Cécile Quartet
This is a real coup for the Ribble Valley Jazz & Blues Festival.

This wonderful Scottish singer was recently selected to support Gregory Porter on his 2022 European Tour, get to see her first in the wonderful cosy atmosphere of The Grand.

Georgia has such a beautiful, soul driven voice and The Grand is the perfect setting for her and her band.

Over the last 18 months, Georgia has performed at jazz festivals up and down the country, released a single (Come Summertime) and was singled out as one to watch by Steve Rubie, the owner of the celebrated 606 Club in Chelsea where she played last July. In the last three months, her increasingly busy itinerary has included gigs at The Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, The Queens Hall, Edinburgh and Oman, where she was invited to play a 30-minute set for royalty!

Line-Up:

Georgia's superb vocals are backed by her long-time writing partner Euan Stevenson on piano plus Ryan Quigley - trumpet, Andrew Robb - bass and Max Popp - drums. A truly fabulous line-up.

Reviews:

"Georgia Cécile dazzles at Ronnie Scott's debut" - Peter Jones, Jazzwise.

"Winner of Best Scottish Jazz Vocalist in 2019 and nominated for Jazz FM Vocalist of the Year 2020, Cécile's star is well and truly on the rise. A trajectory which will no doubt blaze brighter following the release of her debut album in September 2021." - London Jazz Festival

"What really impressed though was the impeccable quality of the lyrics, melodies and arrangements which shared that timeless feeling associated with so many tunes from the Great American Songbook." - Edinburgh Queen's Hall
